Day 22: Earth Day Maker Challenge

Today's post in our March Madness Maker series will answer what I think is a HOW question.

HOW do we facilitate meaningful making? One of the ways to do this is to use Design Thinking to guide your making.   There are different models of design thinking, but I often use the Stanford Design Thinking Model or some modification of that model.

Today I'm working on Design Thinking Challenge related with this year's Earth Day theme.  I thought I would share my thinking (so far) about an Earth Day related design challenge you could try and invite you to join us as we try it.

What is Earth Day?

Earth Day is a global event each year, that more than 1 billion people in 192 countries will take part in what is the largest civic-focused day of action in the world.

There are many different ways you can MAKE a difference on Earth Day.

How might you CREATE and MAKE as a way to increase awareness about an issue that is connected to EARTH DAY?
